| CFD Analyser 4.0 - Feature List
CFD Analyzer is a Tecplot add-on providing tools for analyzing CFD
solutions. Features include PLOT3D-type functions, integration over lines,
surfaces and volumes, calculation and display of streaklines and particle
traces for unsteady solutions, flow feature extraction, error analysis,
and calculation of turbulence quantities.
Calculate fluid dynamic functions quickly and accurately.
|
Integrate particle trajectories.
- Apply to 2- and 3-D, steady and unsteady flow fields
- Create streaklines in unsteady flows
- Specify locations and times of particle release
- Calculate paths of particles with mass
- Specify ballistic coefficient and temperature time constants for particles with mass
- Specify mass, radius, drag coefficient, heat capacity, latent heat and heat transfer coefficient
- Calculate temperature history of particle and use it to ablate or terminate the particles
- Include effects of gravity and buoyancy
|

 |
Integrate scalar and vector functions over space.
- Integrate over lines, surfaces and volumes
- Calculate volumes, areas, flow rates, forces and moments
- Use weighting option to calculate performance-oriented parameters like mass-averaged total pressure
- Blank cells, faces, or line segments based on field values or grid indices
- Specify the domain of integrations and axes for moment calculations

|
Use MIT FX (Fluid Feature Extraction) library.
- Detect and extract shock surfaces and vortex cores
- Detect and extract separation and reattachment lines
|
Estimate the order of accuracy of your numerical solutions.
- Uses Richardson extrapolation analysis
|
CFD Analyzer extends Tecplot macro commands.
- Automate Tecplot and CFD Analyzer operations
