The PCI-DAS6040 from Measurement Computing is a high speed, powerful measurement instrument that plugs into any PCI slot in your computer. Combined with powerful software, it turns your personal computer into a measurement system that may be used to automate experiments, construct product test stands, monitor and control production equipment or be embedded in products such as airport security systems and jet fighter test simulators.
Measure up to 16 channels at 12-bit resolution, (one part in 4096) on any of 15 input ranges with sample rates up to 500 kS per second (single channel) and 250 kS per second (multichannel). Dual analog outputs (two) of 12-bit resolution may be updated at rates to 1 MHz per channel. Discrete digital bi-directional I/O lines (8) can control relays and solenoids, and monitor switch and contact closures.
Simple and complex triggering of measurements is handled by the several types of trigger signal inputs and the powerful programmable trigger logic of the board. Digital events or Analog threshold crossings may be used to initiate both measurement (input) and control (output) processes. Powerful software translates a complex capability into simple-to-understand and configure parameters.
Synchronization of several measurement boards comprising a single measurement and control system is handled by precise inter-board synchronization signals and on-board logic. Software makes it simple to configure and use.
Software for professional developers, occupational developers and non-programming measurement professionals completes your system. Choose from several powerful options, or choose several and use the one suitable to each task.
