Internal Sales Consultant – Job Ref: ISC
The Role:
The job requirement is for someone who enjoys working with and through
people. The ideal person will be friendly and have the drive to
achieve results through a logical and systematic approach. The
job environment requires actively influencing and motivating a variety
of people both within Adept and within our customers.
The person fulfilling the role should have strong influencing
skills in selling products or concepts.
Key attributes include; positive, participative, self-confident,
friendly, self starting, competitive, inquisitive, imaginative, factual,
consistent and self-disciplined. High levels of activity, flexibility,
and pace are also important aspects within the function.
This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility is for making proactive outgoing telephone
calls to prospective customers including within pre-sales telemarketing
campaigns.
- Undertake research and profile prospective customers
as required.
- Handle incoming enquiries from the web, telephone
and other sources.
- Make follow up calls to existing
customers looking for further sales opportunities.
- Using
the company’s standard process, qualify
all contacts made and, subject to the qualification
rating, pass to a new business sales consultant
for further development.
- Work with new business sales consultants and technical specialists:
- to respond to tenders and other formal requests for information
from prospects
- for the ongoing development and further qualification of
prospects
- to develop account plans for qualified prospects
- Update the company's CRM system with
the details of all contacts made and actionstaken
