This movie shows how you can use the 'Matrix' view to analyse what Terms are used together and how the Terms are spread throughout the Groups that RefViz has put the references into.
RefViz uses a word-based statistical analysis to determine which terms (referred to as keywords) in the title and abstract (or notes if there is no abstract) fields represent the main concepts or themes for a set of references. The Matrix view illustrates and highlights associations between Major Topics and Groups, or among the Major Topics themselves. Associations between Major Topics and Groups provide a global perspective of the concepts discussed across Groups. Associations between Major Topics tell you which tend to be discussed together in the literature. The colour is used to show the relevance, or strength, of the associations
